SIMPAX has implemented quality system compliant with the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The certification body for compliance with the standard is TÜV Rheinland [see Certificates].
For the production of resistors SIMPAX uses the latest technologies and materials tested in the railway industry, meeting the highest requirements in terms of quality, safety and durability. Thanks to this, SIMPAX resistors work without failure for a long period of time, are resistant to vibrations and their insulators do not break.
Thanks to proprietary solutions and resistance elements of a new design, the SIMPAX engineering team designs the steel cross-section and resistor power only as needed for a given resistor and its intended use. The Client pays for and receives only what he really needs. Numerous ventilation openings [while maintaining IP23] cause that SIMPAX resistors dissipate heat well, heat up less and work longer. On request, we make stainless steel resistor enclosures, which increases their resistance to corrosive substances.
When designing resistors, we also take into account functional factors, for example, we make it easier to connect cables to a resistor by leading out the terminals of each resistance stage to a common terminal block. If there is such a need, we will adjust the dimensions of the designed resistor to the dimensions of the existing one.
All resistors produced by SIMPAX have the CE quality mark. They meet the quality requirements resulting from European Union directives regarding issues related to the safety of their use. Our resistors meet the following standards:
