Due to several types of solutions for grounding the transformer neutral point, SIMPAX offer distinguishes the following resistors:

• neutral earthing resistors - connected permanently to the transformer neutral point from one side and to the operating grounding from the other side
• [primary] medium voltage forcing resistors - the transformer neutral point is grounded by the arc-suppression coil, so-called Petersen coil
• [secondary] low voltage forcing resistors - the transformer is also earthed by an arc-suppression coil (so-called Petersen coil), but has a low voltage secondary winding to which the resistor is connected
• AACF [automatic active component forcing] Cabinets - the arc-suppression coil (so-called Petersen coil) has a current transformer whose secondary side is connected to the protective devices
