RT Spiral Resistors are the old and proven solution for applications with continuous currents starting at 30A.
Design
RT Spiral Resistors consist of a spirally wound resistance band installed on an insulated core. The component packages are mounted on a common frame to form ready resistors.
Dimensions of RT resistors
Depending on resistor power (available on request)
Operating conditions of RT Spiral Resistors
- operating conditions Continuous, cycle or pulse operation Indoors or outdoors
- operation in atmospheres being free from gases, explosive mixtures and corrosive vapours
- relative humidity: up to 95% at +22 C (293 K)
- mounting height: maximum 1000m above sea level
